Fund McMaster iGEM!

McMaster iGEM is a synthetic biology research and design team led by passionate and dedicated undergraduate students. Each year, we compete in the iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) competition by developing a novel synthetic biology-based solution to solve pressing real world issues. In November, our team will be traveling to Paris, France to showcase our year-long project on the global stage.

For many of our members, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent the team’s incredible hard work, connect with like-minded young scientists from around the world, and learn about exciting new developments from leaders at the forefront of the field.

However, registration for this competition costs upwards of $10,000, not to mention individual student conference and accommodation fees.
